Paracamping Episode II | Linville Gorge
In this episode of Paracamping "Going camping with my Paramotor" I decided to head west and do a sort of camp next to the car and do some exploring with the paramotor the following day. I am still roughing it as far as the camping is going with a minimalist approach. The goal was to camp and then wake up really early and try to fly Linville Gorge in Western North Carolina. I found the perfect take off location, a small grass airfield called Shiflet Field 9A9 in Marion NC. I spoke to the owner, a man named Billy, and he welcomed me and gave me permission to camp and fly from his private airfield. The following is a picture account of the adventure. I was lucky enough to be joined by my good friend Josh for the adventure later in the evening and we had one of the most amazing flights in the morning. I hope you enjoy!
